Getting started
Is Writora free to use?
Yes. Creating an account, reading, writing and publishing are free. A premium membership is optional — it unlocks the full member-only library, removes ads and increases your writer share if you earn.
How do I publish my first story?
Sign in, click “Write” in the header, add a title and your text, upload a cover image, add tags, then hit Publish. Your draft saves automatically every 30 seconds, so nothing is lost while you think. You can also schedule publishing for a future date from the Publish menu.
Images & the editor
Why is my image shown in full? Can I crop it?
Covers and inline images always display complete — never cropped — so your readers see exactly what you uploaded, automatically converted to the fast WebP format. To change the framing, edit the image itself before uploading.
What file types can I upload?
JPG, PNG, GIF and WebP, up to 10 MB. Everything is optimised to WebP for fast pages on phones and slow connections.
How does the selection toolbar work?
Select any word or sentence inside the editor and a small toolbar appears right above your selection: bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, headings, quote and links — just like medium.com.
Earnings & payouts
How do writers earn?
Your earnings come from member reading time, valued by the reader’s country rate. Open the Earn page to see every live rate, then track everything — views, reads and money — in your Stats dashboard.
When and how do I get paid?
Request a withdrawal from your profile once your balance passes the minimum. Payouts go out through the methods shown at checkout, and the referral program pays you a share when writers you invited earn too.
Membership & billing
What does premium include?
Full access to every member-only story, zero ads, PDF export, and a higher writer share if you publish. Your profile shows exactly which benefits are active and when your plan renews.
How do payments work?
Pay with PayPal instantly, or send USDT/Binance/RedotPay and upload the transfer screenshot — approval usually takes under 24 hours. You can cancel any time; benefits stay until the period you paid for ends.
